Virtual Schools
I think
Virtual Schooling is design for some people depending on their way of learning.
I know that Virtual School is becoming the number one system that educators are
using in this 21 Century but all depends on the learners. Virtual Schooling has
its pros and cons for me as student. Online classes, I can take classes that
are not available at my college, learn how to navigate in the Internet better,
how to be independent, and I can do my work when I am available. But as an
English learner I would prefer assist to a class in order to learn the message
clearly. It feels a lot more comfortable when I am on front of a teacher. It
makes me learn and understand better when the professor/teacher is communicating
verbally, and I could seed her/his facial expressions and body movements. In
fact, I am not even sure what would be the best way to learn. On my experience,
this is the only online class that I have ever taken. I think that online classes are very beneficial to students in high
school and higher education. At this age students are responsible to follow
directions and to engage in their work. Students in elementary and middle
school I do not think they have the responsibility to take education seriously.
They still need an adult to constantly remain them what to do and how to do the
work. This students lock the motivation to be responsible for online classes.
